The totality test requires a practical common-sense evaluation of all facts set forth in an affidavit including an informant's veracity and basis of knowledge rather than demanding separate satisfaction of independent credibility and reliability prongs. Strength in one factor can compensate for weakness in another. Courts reject bright-line checklists in favor of this flexible approach.

Does a person need to know the right to refuse consent for consent to be voluntary?+
